Clive Christian je osnovan 1999. godine kada je engleski dizajner istog imena preuzeo Crown parfumeriju, slavnu parfemsku kuću osnovanu u Londonu 1872. godine i koja je nazvana po tome što je kraljica Victoria odobrila korištenje kraljevske krune kao znak kvalitete.
